Sticking to the pole or the silks is of paramount importance when you are learning a new trick or skill.  For me, once my forearms start cramping on silks my training is over UNLESS, I have a little help.   Tuf-Skin is that help.  It is tacky enough to let you grip the silks or pole but not so sticky that you leave a layer of skin behind.  It is a must have for your dance bag.  If I bring it out in class everyone ends up using some and loving it.
