The Be Activated system was developed by Douglas Heel of Capetown, South Africa. It is a cutting-edge system of working with the body that triggers small, simple changes that allow the body to make magnificent and massive shifts. It’s a reset button, and builds resilience, allowing the body to move out of a state of tension and pain, into a strong and relaxed state of excellent performance. Focusing on the first 4 activations in the series, known as Zone 1, we will work to unlock your breathing, psoas, glutes and hamstrings. As these muscle groups release you will feel lighter, more mobile and that will translate into increased fluidity and grace on the pole.

Susan is the owner of Heaux Apparel. She fell in love with pole dancing 3 years ago when she was looking for a way to augment her powerlifting training. She has been using the Be Activated principles for over 5 years to prevent injuries and stay grounded. She credits Be Activated for helping her find her “groove” and feel sexy when she is dancing.
